My Story

Redjacket was born and raised in Houston, Texas. When he was in middle school, his family relocated to Ohio, where he spent a year and met his cousin, Mikewillmadeit, who introduced him to the art of beat-making. After a challenging year of being bullied for being the "new kid," Redjacket moved back to Houston, where his stepdad bought him his first DJ controller—a piece of equipment he still uses today.

Determined to hone his craft, Redjacket spent years perfecting his skills in music production. His dedication eventually led him to join the prestigious Galaxy Producer Group, managed by DJ Durel, the renowned DJ and producer for Migos, and Kaynmadethis, who also manages influential streamer Adin Ross. Through this network, Redjacket produced tracks for major artists such as Migos, Moneybagg Yo, and others, quickly establishing himself in the music scene.

With a combination of raw talent, perseverance, and strong industry connections, Redjacket continues to build his legacy as a respected producer and DJ.

After his time with the Galaxy Producer Group, Redjacket took a step back from DJing to focus more on his production work. However, he soon realized he wanted a platform to showcase both his own DJ skills and the talent of the Houston music scene. During a DJ gig at an event, he met DJ Rov and pitched the idea of collaborating. The two quickly bonded, and with their combined vision, the team was officially formed, creating a new space for Houston’s vibrant music culture to shine.
